Today, I watched Mr.John and Mr.Hary Wisnu's performance. Mr John played guitar and Mr Hary Wisnu played saxephone. They were soooooooo great! Mr. Sadrakh explains us about the assessment criteria and what assessment are we going to do. There are alot of things and works to do but I'm sure i'll keep it up.

2O January 2010, Wednesday

Well, today we choose on what instruments are we going to play. Of course, i pick piano because that's the only instrument that I have. After we choose on what instrument are we going to play, Mr. Sadrakh gave us a piece of music/song titled; Sakura. That song is basically from Japan. So now, we are learning this song for about a week.

25 January 2010, Monday

Today, we decided on what Asian Country are we going to present infront of the class. There are 5 Asian Countries which is; China, India, Korea, Japan and Philippines. So, we choose Korea. And the team leader is going to be Angel. So then, Angel choose me, Novi, Michelle and Chan as the group members. We chose Chan because he's Korean, maybe we could ask Chan based on our chosen topic. I and my group members brainstorm and shared ideas. We put our ideas on a big sheet of paper.

27 January 2010, Wednesday

I will be nervous for today, beacause today is the time when Mr.Sadrakh will assess us on singing the Sakura song. But actually, the fun part was we could sing together by 3's, so Angel chose me and Michelle. So then I was not nervous but the thing is, I can't sing this song because it's japanese language. I didn't learn this song because the words were so difficult. And thats why I learned it 5 or 10 minutes ago, I have to rush all the way through.

1 February 2010, Monday

This day was suppose to be our class presentation about Korea. First, when we opened the powerpoint presentation into Mr.Sadrakh's computer, it seems that it can't open it and we spend 5-10 minutes on solving this. After it's done, we was able to present it infront of the class but Mr.Sadrakh says that we didn't present quite well and he gave us 1 more chance to present again on this wednesday. So, I went home and make some changes inside the powerpoint presentation.

3 February 2010, Wednesday

Today, we re-present our powerpoint presentation again infront of our class and I think Mr.Sadrakh seemed to like it. But for myself, I think I didn't do pretty well today because I was nervous. But I hope, I could do better next time.

8 February 2010, Monday

Today, we were suppose to give the individual music booklet about our chosen country which is Korea. I submitted the booklet to Mr.Sadrakh but some of them didn't, so Mr.Sadrakh says that if someone didnt submit their booklets to me but submitted the booklet tomorrow, it mean that you'll have a -1 score.

10 February 2010, Wednesday

Today, I submitted the 16 bars on the pentatonic scale. We were suppose to choose on what scale are we going to play, and i choose pentatonic scale no.1 which is; 1,2,3,5,i. Mr.Sadrakh said that my pattern was good and he decided write my pentatonic scale on the whiteboard to give as a good example of a pentatonic scale. So if were done with the 16 bars on the pentatonic scale, Mr.Sadrakh assigned us to do another 16 bars on a pentatonic scale so that total will be 32 bars in a pentatonic scale.

Today, I've submitted the 32 bars on a pentatonic scale to Mr.Sadrakh.

17 February 2010, Wednesday

Today, we re-write our 32 bars the pentatonic scale to the paper given from Mr.Sadrakh. Mr.Sadrakh also teaches us on how to make a blog, which we knew it from grade 5. We have to put all our reflection in it and send the link to Mr.Sadrakh. :D
